Since 1999, I've been dreaming up and making films every which way I can imagine. Projects are backed by vision, willingness, courage and/or a little naivety to take the place of budgets, schedules, expensive equipment and predefine clean outcomes. I'm very interested in ideas. I love it when you follow a good idea and it takes you to a treasure chest of possibilities.
We are in the dawn of discovering just what the 21st century has in store for us. I personally believe Interactive collaborative narratives is the future of cinema. What I do on most of my projects is investigate new forms to create with my cast and collaborators and seek alternative ways our film can be seen.
Good cinema is visually driven. When it comes to storytelling, I tend to gravitate towards fictional crime dramas with a hint of dark comedy. My desire for making films is driven by an extensive impulse to master my craft, explore curiosities, meet talented people and create for the sake of experience.
Feel like I'm going to be one of those late bloomers if I ever make a name for myself. Right now, I'm having fun experimenting, recognizing new passions and designing a unique approach to making and sharing films right here at MoonshineFilms.com.
